--
The Veletržní Palace is home to the National Gallery's rich collection of 19th, 20th and 21st century art.
This huge museum presents works from every field of modern art, including paintings and sculptures, graphic design, architecture, industrial art, and more.
The museum's unique collection includes works by some of the greatest European artists: Delacroix, Carpeaux, Rodin, Courbet, Monet, Pissaro, Gauguin, Cézanne, Picasso’s Paris works, Derain, Klimt, Schiele, and Miró.
UPCES students are invited to join an excursion to the museum on Thursday, October 25. Of particular interest will be Alphonse Mucha's Slav Epic. This renowned cycle of 20 monumental canvases depicting Slavic mythology is now on display for the first time in Prague in 80 years. Learn more about Mucha here in our newest Local Tips article.
