Up Next: Veletržní Palace (Museum of Modern Art)

altThe Veletržní Palace is home to the National Gallery's rich collection of 20th and 21st centuries art.

This huge museum presents works from every field of modern art, including paintings and sculptures, graphic design, architecture, industrial art, and more.

This unique collection includes works by some of the greatest European artists: Delacroix, Carpeaux, Rodin, Courbet, Monet, Pissaro, Gauguin, Cézanne, Picasso’s Paris works, Derain, Klimt, Schiele, and Miró.

Current exhibitions include works by Wassily Kandinsky and Jan Strusa.

Most locals will tell you this is their favorite museum in Prague! Come with UPCES on Thursday afternoon to take advantage of a reduced "student group" price of 20 Kc per person (usually 250 Kc).
