New UPCES Internships at the International School of Prague

--
The International School of Prague (ISP) is the most prestigious school of its kind in Prague. The students come from all over the world -- in addition to local Czechs, there are students from all over Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Americas.

altISP enrolls approximately 800 students in total, and the school educates grades K-12. The language of instruction is always English. The building, a quick bus ride from the Dejvicka metro stop (on the Green line), is modern, colorful, and wonderfully equipped. As a whole, ISP offers the ideal setting for multicultural interaction, learning, and leadership. More info about ISP is available on their website.

UPCES and ISP have arranged to offer custom-made internships that fit the experience, talents, and interests of UPCES students. Options for 2012 include:

  • altGuided Study assistant (a study hall where kids can come for help with any of their school work, especially for those who have English as a second language)
  • After-school sports clubs/extra-curricular activities
  • After-school help with writing
  • Science tutorials
  • Elementary classroom assistants

Please note: College credit is not granted for internships; they are strictly extra-curricular and are in addition to your regular course load. All internships are unpaid position. Internships may vary from semester to semester.

If you have any questions regarding the internship program, or if you are an accepted UPCES student wishing to apply for one of the above internships, please contact Program Manager Jessica Williamson at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
