UPCES students don't need to head to the Prague castle to enjoy a palatial atmosphere. UPCES courses are headquartered in the CERGE-EI building, a former palace in the center of historic Prague.
The history of the building dates to the time of King Charles IV (1316-1378), who founded Charles University in 1348. Since then, the building has served as a palace and as the headquarters for the State Bank of Czechoslovakia.
Nowadays, the CERGE-EI building is filled with splendid classrooms, palatial hallways, and modern study centers. All of these facilities offer our students a truly unmatched learning environment. Our building is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The corridors and lounges of the building are alive with intellectual activity late into the evening and on weekends.
For a fresh view of the UPCES facilities, you can browse through a new photo album on Facebook. Enjoy!
