UPCES - Study Abroad in Prague, Czech Republic
// ARTICLE CREATION AND/OR MODIFICATION DATES // note the special format due to date() not functioning with other languages ?>A busy second week of orientation with Czech language courses, guided tours and boat cruises helped our Fall 2017 class love Prague even more!
During our second week of Orientation, we help our students adjust to their initial culture shock, helping them feel more comfortable while studying in a new city with new classmates. Our program consists of morning intensive Czech lessons, introductory course lectures to Czech history and professionally guided walking tours of famous UNESCO protected sites such as the Prague Castle and the Old Jewish Quarter (Josefov).
After another busy week, we ended with a relaxing boat cruise on the Vltava where we were also joined by our UPCES professors, Czech buddies from Charles University and the entire Fall 2017 class!
