Vilém Semerák, Mgr., Ing., Ph.D.
An economist who studied at Prague University of Economics (VŠE Praha), the London School of Economics & Political Science, and Charles University (IES and CERGE-EI), Vilém Semerák obtained his Ph.D. degree from the Prague University of Economics in 2003. He teaches at Charles University and the Prague branch of New York University, and he also works as a researcher for CERGE. He also worked in China at Shandong Economic University and East China Normal University.
Mr. Semerák specializes in international trade theory, economics of transition and the Chinese economy.
