René Levínský, Ing., Ph.D.
René Levínský is an economist with a research focus in experimental game theory and behavioral finance. He graduated at the Czech Technical University in Prague in mathematical physics, then received a PhD in economics at the CERGE institute of the Charles University in Prague. He spent the period between 2000-2006 as lecturer at the University of Freiburg, Germany, in the years 2006-2015 he served as associate director of the Max-Planck-Institute of Economics in Jena, Germany. His current interest in behavioral finance is confirmed by his last publication, namely by his paper Price discovery and gains from trade in asset markets with insider trading, which was published in the European Journal of Finance in February 2022.
