Luca Mazzone is an Assistant Professor at CERGE-EI since September 2024. He is also an Assistant Professor at CERGE, Charles University, and a Researcher at the Economics Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences. Previously, he was an Economist at the International Monetary Fund, from which he is currently on leave. Luca earned his Ph.D. from the University of Zurich and the Swiss Finance Institute in 2020. His research interests are in macroeconomics, with a focus on labor markets, entrepreneurship, and the allocation within the household and the extended family.
