IEF students take their courses in the heart of Prague, with classes located in both the Institute of Economic Studies and the nearby Schebek Palace (CERGE-EI).

The Institute of Economic Studies is headquartered in a beautiful and historic building located on Opletalova Street, right between Prague's Main Train Station and the famous Wenceslas Square.

One block away from IES is the CERGE-EI building, also known as the Schebek Palace, on Politických vězňů street. CERGE-EI is the administrative headquarters of the IEF program and the location of UPCES Humanities courses and Czech Language classes.

Both IES and CERGE-EI offer modern classrooms, comfortable study spaces, and state-of-the-art educational resources.

Minutes away from both buildings are such landmarks as the National Museum, the State Opera, the Estates Theatre, and the Powder Tower, as well as an array of charming shops, cafés, restaurants, and historic buildings.

Owing to the central locations of IES and CERGE-EI, both buildings are within close walking distance to three metro stations: Muzeum, Mustek, and Hlavní Nádraží. The nearest tram stops are Jindřišská, Hlavní Nádraží, Muzeum, and Václavské náměstí.
